Paneer Tikka Recipe

Here’s a flavorful and easy-to-make Paneer Tikka Recipe — a popular Indian appetizer made by marinating paneer cubes in spiced yogurt and grilling or roasting them.

Ingredients
  

For Marinade:
  • Paneer – 250g cut into 1-inch cubes
  • Thick curd yogurt – ½ cup
  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • Kumbh Paneer Tikka Masala – 2 tbsp
  • Kumbh Red chili powder – ½ tsp
  • Kumbh Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Kumbh Chaat masala – ½ tsp
  • Salt – to taste
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Gram flour (besan) – 1 tbsp (lightly roasted, optional for binding)
Veggies (optional but classic):
  • Onion – 1 cut into square chunks
  • Capsicum green/red/yellow – 1, cubed

Method
 

Step 1: Marinate
  1. In a bowl, mix curd, ginger-garlic paste, Kumbh Paneer Tikka Masala, Kumbh chili powder, Kumbh turmeric, salt, Kumbh chaat masala, lemon juice, oil, and besan.
  2. Add paneer cubes and veggies. Gently coat them in the marinade.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Step 2: Skewer & Cook
  1. Thread marinated paneer and veggies alternately on skewers.
  2. Cook using one of these methods:
  3. Oven: Preheat to 200°C (390°F). Bake for 12–15 minutes, turning once. Broil/grill for 2 minutes for a charred effect.
  4. Tawa/Griddle: Drizzle some oil, grill skewers or pieces until golden and slightly crisp on medium heat.
  5. Air fryer: Air fry at 200°C for 10–12 minutes.
Step 3: Serve
  1. Sprinkle with chaat masala, lemon juice, and fresh coriander.

Notes

Green chutney & onion salad
Naan or paratha (for a full meal)
